1. Are you licensed and insured? 
Any trustworthy gutter company should carry the proper state license and insurance coverage, including general liability and workers’ compensation. This ensures you’re protected in case of accidents or property damage during the job. AmeriGutter is fully licensed and insured. We can provide a copy of our license and certificate of insurance upon request.

2. What size gutters do I need?
 The right gutter size depends on factors like your roof’s surface area, slope, and how much rainfall your area gets. Most homes use 5-inch or 6-inch gutters, but larger or steep-pitched roofs may require bigger systems to handle more water flow.

3. What materials and styles do you offer?
 Gutters come in a variety of materials — aluminum is the most common but is also available in steel, copper, and lead coated copper. Aluminum is lightweight and rust-resistant, steel is very strong, copper offers a premium look. The best choice depends on your home’s style, budget, and climate.

4. Do you install seamless gutters?
 Yes, seamless gutters are highly recommended because they’re custom-made on site to fit your home and have no joints, which greatly reduces the risk of leaks.

5. How long does installation usually take?
 Most standard single-story homes can be completed within a day. Larger, more complex, or multi-story homes might take up to two or three days depending on the layout and weather conditions.

8. What kind of maintenance will my gutters need?
 Gutters should be cleaned at least once or twice a year, especially if your property has trees nearby. You can also ask about gutter guards or screens to minimize debris buildup and reduce how often you’ll need to clean them.

9. Will you remove the old gutters and clean up afterward? 
We include removal of old gutters, disposal, and full site cleanup in their service. 

10. Who performs the installation — your crew or subcontractors? 
It’s important to know who’s doing the actual work. AmeriGutter only uses our employees who are covered under our Workmen’s Comp. insurance policy. We do not subcontract any work. Our use in-house teams have better quality control and consistent workmanship, while subcontractors may vary in skill level.
11. If we sign up can the contract be canceled? State law gives cunsumers three days to cancel any signed contractwith nany contractor however AmeriGutter allows you to cancel at anytime.
